The Popular Show Season Four Reveals the Soldiers Table

Since the launch of the fourth campaign, new Dungeon Master the talented storyteller has kept viewers on edge with extensive world-building, a colorful mix of personalities, and a exciting storyline including celestial beings, demons, and sinister influences expanding in strength within the urban setting.

Note: Revealing details for the latest installment of the new season lie ahead.

The Combat-Oriented Party Revealed

Episode 3 ended with a major cliffhanger and revealed the initial group of heroes who will branch out from the central cast to embark on their separate journey, apart from the other two tables.

The combat-focused team features Teor Pridesire (brought to life by Travis Willingham), the nimble rogue (Laura Bailey), Tyranny (the cast member), Wicander Halovar (Sam Riegel), and the mysterious adventurer (the actor).

Dividing the Cast

With an extensive roster, it was evident from the start that maintaining everyone at the same party would be impossible.

That’s why, the first four episodes of Campaign 4 serve as an Introduction, weaving together the individual narratives before branching into three distinct groups: Fighters, Schemers, and Explorers.

What Defines the Soldiers Table

Per the DM, the Soldiers table is for players who prefer a traditionally charged combat and conflict-driven narrative style where diplomatic options are few and far between.

Initially, figures such as the hesitant healer Wicander Halovar might seem out of place, but the events of the third episode demonstrate why these particular heroes are best suited for the Soldiers table.

Why They Must Go

For one thing, the group knows exactly where to proceed after a brutal initial meeting with The Crow Keepers.

An old friend of Thjazi Fang—whose death started the story’s plot—used the enemy for his own means, breaking into the secret base, assaulting Thimble, and taking all the powerful objects to auction.

Casimir then paid off his debts and escaped to a secure base in Gormalay, Timmony, north of the urban center, with Cyd hot on his heels.

Individual Reasons

Additionally, each character has a personal reason to exit Dol-Makjar:

  • The agile hero, as the close ally and best friend, seeks retribution.
  • The knowledgeable figure is familiar with the northern area and advises that it is a dangerous environment.
  • Tyranny and The healer, having resisted his relatives’ demands to execute the fighter and instead rescued him, have nowhere else to go.
  • However, their reputation as important members in the influential clan could help the party access places they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Additionally, Teor vowed a unbreakable promise to The savior for his salvation and will now accompany him anywhere.

Pursued by Authorities

Lastly, all of them are wanted by the authorities that govern the setting for a multiple motives, making remaining behind dangerous:

  • The agile adventurer and The character are recognized lawbreakers.
  • Tyranny and The cleric betrayed the influential house and the legion of demons they are allied with.
  • Teor is marked for death by the clan.

This leaves them few options but to journey toward Timmony in quest for the traitor.

What’s Next?

Based on the recent installment’s follow-up content, we find out that the Soldiers table will not appear the following episode, leaving the other eight cast members to form the Seekers and Strategists tables.

Audiences can expect discovering which characters will be in which group in the season’s final introductory chapter, released on next week.
